A couple of years ago I wrote this post about Mother’s Day in the U.K. and U.S. This year I’ve painted some Mother’s Day card designs in my expressive, colourful style. They are based on UK animals and done in a whimsical style. I hope they say “I love you mom”! They are sure to put a smile on her face.
I painted them in my card journal (art journal for card designs) using a flower stencil I made with Kobra spray paint.
I painted around my animal character designs with acrylic paint in pinks, greens, golds and yellows. These colours say mum to me.
I would really love some feedback about which designs are preferred so I have put together a short poll which you can see below.
