One of my homemade birthday cards. This is a dimensional leaf birthday card made from handprinted (gelli press) papers and an embellishment made by stamping with a homemade 3D printed stamp and then embossing.

I love these rich purple alcohol ink effects combined with metallic silver. It produces a very opulent looking card and the sketchy leaves add that touch of whimsy. The addition of stitched thread around the edges makes for an unusual homemade birthday card that will surprise the recipient. This combination makes for a very attractive leaf birthday card. All you need now is a purple leaf birthday cake ….. xx
