My custom resin jewellery making process involves designing on paper and then modelling the piece in 3D software (I use Blender). This is then 3D printed, smoothed and then used to make a mould or a cutting tool for Fimo. I use UV resin to make most pieces as it is quick and has a glass like finish. Some UV resins can yellow with age but the resin I use claims not to do so. I have not noticed any yellowing but I can finish with a UV protective glaze if required.

Here are some example prices so you can decide whether to request a quote.

• 1 non-exclusive resin pin of 1″ size of flat cat face design : £20 design £5 pin £3 postage
  
  Up to 10 further copies would be £5 each. I may add the design to my inventory.
  
  
• Set of 3D dragonfly design (2 earrings of 3cms and necklace of 5cms) : £40 design and £30 for set. £7 postage.
  
  Further sets at £30 each: earrings £6 each; necklace £18. I may add the design to my inventory.
  
  
• 5 non-exclusive car design 1″ pins : £40 design £5 per pin £3 postage.
  
  I WILL NOT add this design to my inventory.
  
  
• 5 exclusive flower design 1″ pins : £200 exclusive usage rights £40 design £5 per pin £3 postage per pin.
  
  I CANNOT add this design to my inventory. I may use images of the design/product for promotional purposes.
  
  

By exclusive I mean that I won’t reuse the design for myself or anyone else but I retain the copyright. Conversely non-exclusive designs I can reuse and sell items of on my shop.
