The fluorescent pinks oranges and blues of this painting suggested to me the nettle and all its attitude. Nettles used to be eaten regularly as a spinache type green, and can be used as an anti-histamine. As a tea they are said to have cleansing properties and the Romans used to self flagellate with them to help them adapt to the cold damp climate of Britain. This exciting painting would add drama to any space.
